Spring Fever

Back from 2 weeks in Victoria. Teaching mixed media collage techniques for books canvases and on paper at Grampians Brushes.

I'm looking forward to some serious time in the studio and getting my hands back into the dye pots and clay.

A quick dip into the dye pots yesterday gave me a rainbow of wool pieces for a basketmaking workshop. Baskets – Exploring ideas for making and constructing simple vessels, using found, gathered, and repurposed materials. Learn how to make cordage from plant fibre or fabric, then weave, stitch or crochet a container or two.
